BLIESE SLIPS BY FOR 2nd WIN IN A ROW AT MILLER

MILLER, SD - Kroeplin Ag Service Night at Miller Speedway went off without a hitch on a beautiful Friday night with 49 cars on hand.

The fans almost witnessed a big upset in the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature when rookie Grady Myers was well ahead of the field and it appeared top dogs Kevin Bliese and Lorin Johnson would be unable to run him down. Just past halfway, however, Cody Stotz hit the backstretch guardrail and brought out the caution.

Myers led after the restart while Bliese and Johnson fought for second. Johnson eventually secured the runner-ip spot and ran Myers down. They traded the lead back and forth until a cylinder in Myers' engine failed going into turn three on the last lap, which slowed Myers and bottled up Johnson long enough for Bliese to take the lead and the win.

Myers held on for second ahead of Johnson, Don Zeman and Scott Sievert. It was Bliese's 14th win.
