MILLER, SD - Kevin Bliese rolled to his first feature victory of the season in the WISSOTA Midwest Modified make-up feature. Grady Myers led the first two laps before Bliese made a pass for the lead. Bliese held off a rally by Lorin Johnson after a late yellow and cruised to the win. Johnson finished second ahead of Don Zeman, Doug Pollock, and Kyle Knouse. It was Bliese's 12th career win at the speedway.

A cold sprinkle prior to the regularly scheduled WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature made the dry track more raceable than the heat races. Brad Sheridan led the first three laps before rookie Denver Nickeson took the lead. Nickeson would go on to win in only his sixth race anywhere. Bliese was able to move up from his 8th place starting spot to claim second. Rounding out the top five where Lorin Johnson, Sheridan, and Jim Danburg.
